Friday: The Socialite

This Friday is a start to a very special weekend in Toronto. It is Valentine’s Day and family day weekend all wrapped up in one! Family Day weekend was established by the Ontario government on October 12, 2007, and implemented on February 18, 2008. It is counted as a statutory holiday, and falls on the same weekend as Presidents’ Day in the US. I remember going across the border to the US to shop on the holiday Monday, only to find out that everything was closed over there! We have to make more of an effort to learn each other’s schedules!

I have some fantastic plans for you over the long weekend. Grab your pens and your agendas and get your social on!
