Friday: The Socialite

Niagara-on-the-Lake | Niagara Falls Canada

Let’s head to Niagara this week, where the wine vineyards are being prepared for a bountiful harvest, and the town’s old world charm makes you warm and toasty inside. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a beautiful place in the southern part of Ontario, located on the mouth of the Niagara River. It is known for their theatre productions like the Shaw Festival, and iconic 19th century period buildings. Fort St. George was built near the river by the British to prevent attacks by the Americans, and is present to this day for guided tours. The vineyards! Well, all I can say is that you will want to book a wine tour even if you are not a wine drinker. The amount of information you will process on a culture-rich adventure such as that, will give you a new appreciation for what is corked in the bottles.

PRINCE OF WALES - Updated 2020 Prices, Hotel Reviews, and Photos (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada) - Tripadvisor

In particular, I would like to point out the Prince of Wales Vintage hotel that is just bursting at the seams with charm, and is a cozy spot to have a phenomenal high tea, a glorified pampering at the spa, or a restful overnight sleep. This hotel meets all of your needs, taking hospitality to a first-class level.

It is worth investigating if you are interested in going for the day, or even the whole weekend. Bring your significant other, your besties, or even the family for a good old-fashioned time on the town. This is the long weekend before we head into Fall. Make the best of this last long weekend of the summer, giving it the farewell it so richly deserves. It was one of the most peculiar summers we have ever had, and one that we will definitely not forget. I hope you enjoy yourselves! Happy Friday everyone!
