I’m not sure what is happening around the world, but here in Canada we are currently in our “second wave” for COVID. Numbers are spiking, businesses are closing down again, and people are frustrated. I’m not sure what to make of all of this, and I often wonder what life will look like for the next 2-3 years. Does anyone have a bucket list of the things they really wanted to do, that was abruptly paused for the crisis at hand? I, for one, had big plans for my fortieth birthday in January, complete with a trip to Antigua with my husband. I wanted to cruise there, and discover the island, along with many others as an adventure! I’m trying to keep things low key these days, dreaming up something a bit more local and simplistic.
Who had travelling plans that are now bummed due to COVID? I want to hear all about your plans that never happened so that the rest of us can dream up something wonderful in the future ahead. This is not an easy time for any of us, and some even more than others. However, we have to buoy up spirits and keep hopes and dreams alive for when things finally get back on track. Keep your heads up folks, and happy Saturday everyone!
